Dalam durasi tiga menit, Chroma memadukan warna-warna flicker, gerakan dan lekuk-lekuk tubuh, serta permainan tempo flicker sebagai bahasa sinematik. Penonton diajak untuk memfokuskan pandangannya (vision) dalam perebutan ‘ruang pada frame’ antara performer yang berwarna hitam dengan warna-warna flicker yang menjadi latarnya.

In only three minutes, Chroma serves a bold mixture of flickering colors, body movements, and tempo changes as its mode of cinematic narration. The film forces the eye to look for focus in the struggle for space, between the dark-costumed performer and the flickering landscape of myriad colors.

Jeremy Moss adalah seniman gambar gerak, kurator dan guru. Filem dan videonya telah ditayangkan di festival, museum dan berbagai tempat di dunia. Karyanya dengan jelas mendobrak sesuatu yang baru dan pengalaman-pengalaman alternatif, baik kultural maupun estetik. Menjelajahi hubungan gerak tubuh dengan gerak frame dan efek kinetik yang terjukstaposisi. Dia adalah Asisten Profesor Film & Media Studies Franklin & Marshall College di Lancaster.

Jeremy Moss is a moving image artist, curator, and teacher. His films and videos have screened at festivals, museums, and various venues throughout the globe. His work clearly pushes for new and alternative experiences, both cultural and aesthetic, exploring the relationship of moving bodies within moving frames and the kinetic impact of jolting montage juxtapositions. He is an Assistant Professor of Film & Media Studies at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
