Jumat, 21 Agustus 2015. Sore ini, ARKIPEL Grand Illusion – 3rd Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival bekerjasama dengan British Council mengadakan media gathering terkait program penayangan khusus dari LUX Moving Image asal Inggris. Berlangsung di Morrissey Hotel, Menteng, Jakarta Pusat, media gathering ini dihadiri oleh Yuki Aditya selaku Direktur Festival ARKIPEL, Benjamin Cook, Direktur LUX, dan Levina Wirawan, Programme Manager British Council.
Program presentasi khusus yang diberi judul The Others (Liyan) ini dikuratori oleh Benjamin Cook, menampilkan lima film koleksi LUX yakni Weight (2014) karya Kate Davis, Depositions (2014) karya Luke Fowler, Things karya Ben Rivers (2014), Pyramid (2014) karya Margaret Salmon, dan Taskafa, Stories from the Street (2013) karya Andrea Luka Zimerman. LUX merupakan agensi seni terbesar di Inggris, mengoleksi 4.500 karya dari 1.500 seniman sejak tahun 1920.
Program ini akan ditayangkan Minggu, 23 Agustus 2015, pukul 17.00-19.00 dan juga Selasa, 25 Agustus 2015 pada jam yang sama di GoetheHaus. Selain menghadirkan pemutaran, Benjamin Cook juga akan berbagi pengetahuan dalam program Public Lecture, Selasa, 25 Agustus 2015, pukul 14.00-16.00 di Auditorium Institut Kesenian Jakarta.

This afternoon, ARKIPEL Grand Illusion – 3rd Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival in collaboration with British Council held a media gathering for special screening program from LUX Moving Image (UK). Housed at Morrissey Hotel, Menteng, Central Jakarta, media gathering was attended by Yuki Aditya ARKIPEL as Festival Director, Benjamin Cook, Director of LUX, and Levina Wirawan, Programme Manager of the British Council.
The special presentation program entitled The Others (Liyan) is curated by Benjamin Cook, featuring five films collections LUX namely Weight (2014) by Kate Davis, Depositions (2014) by Luke Fowler, Things (2014) by Ben Rivers, Pyramid (2014 ) by Margaret Salmon, and Taskafa, Stories from the Street (2013) by Andrea Luka Zimerman. LUX is an arts agency in Britain, collecting 4,500 works by 1,500 artists since 1920.
The program will be showed at Sunday, August 23, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. to 19:00 and Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the same hour in GoetheHaus. In addition to the special presentation, Benjamin Cook will also get the chance to share his knowledge in Public Lecture program, Tuesday, August 25, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Auditorium of the Jakarta Arts Institute.
