Sebagai rangkaian dari ARKIPEL homoludens – 6th Jakarta International Documentary & Experimental Film Festival 2018, akan digelar penayangan perdana proyek filem Milisifilem yang didukung oleh Pusat Pengembangan Film, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Malam penayangan akan dilaksanakan di GoetheHaus<\/strong>, Goethe-Institut Jakarta pada hari Sabtu, 11 Agustus 2018<\/strong> pukul 19.00 WIB.<\/strong><\/p>\n Proyek filem yang akan ditayangkan adalah salah satu tugas dalam kelas Milisifilem. Para anggota ditugaskan untuk membuat filem pendek hitam putih dengan durasi minimal lima menit, dalam kelompok berisi tiga orang. Proyek berbentuk audiovisual pertama yang dirilis oleh Milisifilem ini dimulai produksinya sejak bulan Maret lalu. Kelima kelompok merumuskan premis dan ide filemnya secara kolaboratif hingga proses syuting dan editing yang mengikuti sesudahnya, sementara fasilitator Milisifilem hanya bertindak sebagai konsultan. Hasilnya adalah lima filem hitam-putih yang beragam dalam bentuk maupun durasi. Meskipun pada akhirnya, bukan hanya hasil berupa produk visual yang diharapkan dari aktivisme platform ini, namun juga kesadaran kontekstual yang tinggi dalam menghadapi perubahan zaman.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1533902078166{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Milisifilem is a study platform on film production through practices of visual experimentation, initiated by Forum Lenteng. As a part of ARKIPEL homoludens – 6th Jakarta International Documentary & Experimental Film Festival 2018, a screening of Milisifilem\u2019s first film project supported by Central of Film Development, Ministry of Education and Culture will be held at GoetheHaus<\/strong>, Goethe-Institut Jakarta at Saturday, August 11, 2018<\/strong> 7.00 pm<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n The films were assigned as one of the class projects in Milisifilem. The members had to produce black-and-white short films with a minimum duration of five minutes, in groups containing three people. Milisifilem\u2019s first audiovisual project was started since March. The five groups came up with the premise and idea collaboratively, along with the shooting and editing process that follows, while Milisifilem\u2019s facilitator only acted as consultant. The result were five black-and-white films that ranges in form and duration. Dari sebuah pematang sawah seorang petani muda dijemput paksa. Suasana gelap di dalam mobil box yang melakukan perjalanan panjang sesekali memberi secercah harapan lewat beberapa kemungkinan melarikan diri saat mobil berhenti. Seorang penjaga di dekat pintu tidak melepaskan pandangannya dari si korban. Mobil berjalan menuju kegelapan. Keduanya terlibat dalam upaya mempertahankan lahan sawah sejumlah warga.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1533903212669{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]This film tries to get into a suspenseful experience of a kidnapping victim. From the dike of the rice field, a young farmer was taken away by force. The dark atmosphere inside the small container truck throughout a long drive, gives a sliver of hope a couple times through the possibility of running away when the truck stops. A guard near the door does not take his eyes off the victim. The car drives away into the dark. Visual turut dipermainkan dan dieksperimentasikan dalam usaha menciptakan dan menggabungkan ruang-ruang baru menggunakan berbagai medium. Melalui filem ini, para kreator berusaha menganalogikan munculnya sebuah perubahan, dampaknya kepada lingkungannya, dan bagaimana masyarakat luas bereaksi terhadap perubahan tersebut.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1533903599601{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Responding the activism of Warkop DKI in their era, this film tries to reconstruct some images from the film, while forming a new artwork in the form of moving collage. The visual was played and experimented on, in an attempt to create and join together new spaces using various mediums. Platform ini secara khusus mendalami praktik-praktik produksi visual, baik secara teknis maupun konteks yang terkait dengan persoalan sosial budaya terkini. Secara reguler, MILISIFILEM menyelenggarakan pelatihan tentang dasar-dasar visual secara lintas disiplin, menggunakan pendekatan yang partisipatoris dan kolaboratif. Para partisipan menjelajahi berbagai kemungkinan eksperimentasi visual, serta membangun kedisiplinan kolektif dalam memproduksi karya-karya visual. This platform specifically explores practices of visual production both technically and contextually relating to contemporary socio-cultural issues. MILISIFILEM regularly carries out interdisciplinary training on the basics of visual arts through participatory and collaborative approach. Participants examine the possibilities of visual experimentation and cultivate their discipline in producing visual works.
