Catatan Pameran Kultursinema #5 Hari Keempat<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Pameran Kultursinema #5: Gelora Purnaraga<\/em> pada hari keempatnya dihadiri oleh kurang lebih 27 orang dan 3 media. Terdapat pula pengunjung yang spesial pada pameran Kultursinema di hari keempat ini, yaitu Guruh Soekarnoputra<\/a> yang merupakan putra Presiden pertama Indonesia sekaligus pemimpin Indonesia saat Ganefo (Games of The New Emerging Force) diselenggarakan.<\/p>\n

Kultursinema #5 kali ini mengangkat tema Gelora Purnaraga<\/em>, mengacu pada tema homoludens <\/em>yang menjadi poros pembahasan dalam ARKIPEL \u2013 Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival. <\/em>Dengan tema Gelora Purnaraga<\/em> mencoba melihat kejadian Ganefo di tahun 1963 dalam bingkai permainan olahraga dan ide tubuh yang sempurna melalui dua bagian; tubuh-tubuh so<\/em>sial <\/em>dan gestur-gestur ragawi.<\/em><\/p>\n

Salah satu instalasi di Pameran Kultursinema $5: Gelora Purnaraga<\/p><\/div>\n

Pada hari keempat pelaksanaannya, terdapat beberapa pengunjung dari latar belakang yang juga berbeda. Masing-masing pengunjung mempunyai kesan dan pesan yang mereka lontarkan sepanjang penulis mendampingi mereka untuk berkeliling di area pameran. Mulai dari bercerita tentang apa yang diceritakan oleh orang tua mereka tentang kejadian Ganefo, sampai pada bertanya tentang materi karya-karya yang dipajang di ruang pameran.<\/p>\n

Salah satu pengunjung pameran yang bernama Monica Retno, menceritakan bagaimana orang tuanya menuturkan tentang kejadian Ganefo. Sebagai sebuah kejadian yang dirayakan bersama oleh warga Jakarta pada saat itu, terdapat pula sebuah cerita bahwa warga Jakarta yang terkena gusuran GOR yang akan digunakan untuk acara Ganefo pindah dengan suka cita ke kawasan Tebet dan mereka memberikan nama-nama jalan di kawasan mereka yang baru dengan nama Ganefo I, II, III dan seterusnya sebelum saat ini berubah menjadi Tebet Dalam dan lain-lain.<\/p>\n

Beberapa komentar yang berbeda juga datang dari pengunjung lainnya, seperti Surtiman dan Takashi Makino. Pada kunjungannya, Surtiman banyak bertanya tentang maksud dari tema yang diusung Kultursinema #5 kali ini dan ia juga bertanya tentang beberapa karya yang dipamerkan. Pertanyaan yang hampir sama pun datang dari Takashi Makino, seorang seniman visual yang menjadi penampil tamu pada salah satu rangkaian acara ARKIPEL tahun 2018 ini.<\/p>\n

Pada kunjungannya, Makino bertanya tentang materi-materi karya yang dipamerkan, seperti mengapa ada dua video tentang peristiwa olahraga yang berasal dari dua generasi (yang dimaksud adalah video Ganefo 1963 dan ASIAN Games 2018)? Selain bertanya tentang isi pameran, ia juga bercerita tentang Olimpiade Tokyo yang diadakan pada tahun yang hampir sama dengan Ganefo. Di dalam ceritanya, Makino menceritakan sekelumit pengalaman kurang menyenangkan yang terjadi pada Olimpiade Tokyo. Misal tentang harus dikorbankannya beberapa bangunan penting dan bersejarah demi pembangunan dan kepentingan Olimpiade.<\/p>\n

Di sela-sela pembicaraannya, penulis bercerita tentang euforia warga Jakarta yang diceritakan oleh Monica Retno pada saat Ganefo berlangsung. Makino kemudian bertanya apakah mereka tidak protes saat mereka dipindahkan dari tempat mereka yang lama demi kepentingan pembangunan infrastruktur Ganefo? Kemudian penulis pun menceritakan kisah yang sama yang Monica Retno tuturkan bahwa warga justru menyambut dengan suka cita, bahkan menamakan jalan-jalan di tempat tinggal baru mereka dengan nama Ganefo I, II, III dan seterusnya.<\/p>\n

Selain berinteraksi dengan pengunjung, penulis pun mencoba berinteraksi dengan salah satu perwakilan tim Forum Lenteng yang terlibat untuk penggarapan pameran Kultursinema #5. Di dalam perbincangan tersebut, Afrian Purnama bercerita tentang proses riset maupun persoalan teknis penggarapan karya-karya yang dipajang di pameran. Ia menjelaskan mengapa yang dipameerkan bukan hanya soal sinema namun juga materi karya seperti kotak musik dan korelasinya dengan expanded cinema<\/em>. Selain itu juga ia menceritakan bagaimana sulitnya mencari sumber materi yang dipamerkan, namun akhirnya satu persatu mereka berhasil mendapatkan materi yang dibutuhkan. Bahkan tim pameran Kultursinema #5 juga mendapatkan beberapa arsip tentang Ganefo yang berasal dari luar negeri. Notes on Kultursinema Exhibition #5, Day Four<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Kultursinema Exhibition #5: Passion of the Perfect Body<\/em>, on its fourth day were attended by 27 visitors, and 3 media. There were also special visitors on the fourth day of this exhibition, Guruh Soekarnoputra<\/a>, the son of the first president, who was also leading Indonesia during Ganefo (Games of the New Emerging Force).<\/p>\n

Kultursinema #5 brings up Passion of the Perfect Body<\/em> as its theme, referring to the festival\u2019s theme homoludens<\/em> that stands as a center of discourse in ARKIPEL \u2013 Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival. <\/em>The theme of Kultursinema tries to view Ganefo through the frame of sports and the idea of the perfect body in two parts: social bodies and physical gestures.<\/p>\n

On its fourth day, there were visitors from various backgrounds. Each of the visitors expressed their impressions frequently while I accompany them around the exhibition area. They told me about what their parents told them about the Ganefo, and they also asked about the works displayed in the room.<\/p>\n

One of the visitors, Monica Retno, told me what her parents had said about Ganefo. As a grand event celebrated by citizens of Jakarta, there were also stories of how some citizens that were evicted from their homes for the construction of the sports center moved wholeheartedly to Tebet. They even named the streets there with Ganefo I, II, III, and so on, before the names were changed into Tebet Dalam and others.<\/p>\n

Different opinions came from other visitors, such as Surtiman and Takashi Makino. On his visit, Surtiman asked about the purpose of the theme, and he also inquired on the amount of works displayed. Similar questions were conveyed by Takashi Makino, a visual artist who were invited to perform at one of the events in ARKIPEL 2018.<\/p>\n

On his visit, Makino asked about the works displayed, such as, why there were two videos of different sports event that occurred in different times (Ganefo 1963 and ASIAN Games 2018)? Besides asking about the content of the exhibition, he also told me about the Tokyo Olympics that were held almost in the same year as Ganefo. He also recounted few unpleasant occurrences during the Tokyo Olympics, such as how important historical buildings were sacrificed for the development of the grand event.<\/p>\n

Takashi Makino, a Japanese artist, visit Kultursinema Exhibitions<\/p><\/div>\n

Between our conversations, I also told him the euphoria of the citizens of Jakarta during Ganefo that was recounted to me by Monica Retno. Makino questioned whether they did not protest when they were evicted for the sake of Ganefo\u2019s infrastructural development? I continued Monica\u2019s story, that they welcomed the government\u2019s act, even they named the streets where they lived with Ganefo I, II, III, and so on.<\/p>\n

After interacting with visitors, I also got to talk with one of the Forum Lenteng team who was involved in the process of making the Kultursinema #5 exhibition, Afrian Purnama. He told me about the research process, and the technical matters on the making of the works displayed in the exhibition. He also explained why they displayed many things outside the aspect of cinema, but the material works, such as music box and how it correlated with the notion of expanded cinema. He also recounted how hard it was to search for the source material, but over the time, they got the sources they needed.
