This film traces a new source of a positivistic stance, one of the most influential epistemologies of modern time. The construction is presented through a conventional narrative, which parallelizes sound and image in order to shape a discourse with a goal to justify an established history. Using photo materials from Julius Kuhn’s archive, this film deconstructs positivistic frameworks and draws a line of demarcation between scientific and non-scientific epistemology that produces certain view of reality. The core of this film is that it comes in the context of the reaction to certain discourse-related awareness. It’s not only about the of visual image that physically moved, but also about how the axiology unfolded by aesthetics context.
