Ia terlontar ke satu tempat tak dikenal dari waktu kita sekarang. Di situ ia menemukan sebuah peta yang tidak terbaca—tepatnya: tidak melibatkan keterbacaannya. Apa kamu akan beranjak? Ke mana? Setidaknya, buat sementara ini aku tetap di sini. Ingatannya berpusar tentang tempat-tempat lain yang pernah dikenalnya. Tangannya mengangkat lembar peta, nyaris seakan menggantungnya. Dimulai dengan perlahan, peta itu lantas berhamburan sebagai tebaran garis dan noktah yang melingkup tempat pijaknya. Dari ketinggiannya berdiri, matanya dengan jelas membaca segenap tanda yang saat itu juga dikenalinya dengan sempurna. Seketika, ingatan-ingatan tadi keluar dari pusarannya dan mulai melompati jejalur dari seluruh garis dan noktah di situ. Ia mulai berpikir tentang kedua kakinya.
He/she is thrown into an unknown place from our present day. There he/she finds an unreadable map—which does not involve his/her chance to read it. Are you going to move? Where? I will stay here for a while, at least. His/her memory swirls about other places he/she previously had known. His/her hand lifts the map, as if nearly hangs it up. The map then is scattered away as splattered lines and spots around his/her foothold, slowly. From his/her height, his/her eyes clearly read all the marks that easily recognizable completely. At once, those memories burst out of the whirl and begin to jump over the path of lines and spots therein. He/she then starts to think about his/her feet.
