Please join @america and ARKIPEL Jakarta International Documentary and Experimental Film Festival in welcoming Scott Miller Berry who will present a Master Class on celluloid-based personal filmmaking. This class will demystify the process of shooting Super 8 and 16mm films to tell your stories. He will share a series of film clips and a brief presentation about how you can make your own “personal film” from start to finish in easy steps! There will be examples of cameras, film stocks, a list of resources and information. Scott has been making films and working with film festivals and hand made film workshops for almost 20 years and will use these experiences as a guide to answer any questions you might have about how not only to make a film, but also tips on navigating the film festival landscapes and distribution of independent artist film and video. No filmmaking experience necessary.
