Through its long equal history with Europe, contemporary Asian cinema is now cemented as one of the barometer for the growth of contemporary global cinema. New perspective of this region cinema has formed through diverse traditions of cinematic experiments in various regions in the course of positioning Asia’s angle as Asian very own entity of pronunciation. At least for the past two decades, such occurrence is obvious by the large works of Asian cinema who specifically have developed creative strategies in negotiating issues of socio-political cultures and local discourse. Language became one important element in contributing this angle of pronunciation along with the typical attitude of their antecedent in how to perceive the world and create contextual dimensions upon the idea of new age.
