We should start exploring what kind of propositions that characterizes Asia in finding its own cinema language, to let’s say, when we observe such works of Lav Diaz, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Tsai Ming-Liang, Park Chan Wook and several others. If we take the example of aesthetics as a possibility, in what way the aesthetic is mediated as product of disclosing public and nation domains from Asian culture and politics towards other regions. Therefore, to what extent such disclosure continues to explore documentary and experimental potential in the midst of visual and narrative expressions that being displayed by public on the internet and social media. In such reality, the canons of cinema seem to blurred when Asian cinema can face the its own critical situation regarding production and artistic creativity issues.
